Bright Beer
Bright Brewery regularly produces five beers, the
Hellfire Amber Ale, Blowhard Pale Ale, Razor Witbier, Staircase Porter, and Fainters
Dubbel. These are backed up by our "Brewer's Choice" range of seasonal beers which are available only at the Brewery Door.

The Hellfire Amber Ale is an aromatic and moderately bitter amber ale with a
clean, dry finish, leaving your mouth ready for another.

The Blowhard Pale Ale is an American-style pale ale with a bracing citrus aroma,
and crisp Cascade hop character. It is the perfect accompaniment to spicy foods or fish and chips.

The Belgian-style Razor Witbier is
brewed using unmalted triticale wheat grown nearby in the Ovens
Valley, at the base of Mount Buffalo. It has a light refreshing
flavour with hints of coriander.

The Staircase Porter is a traditional dark-ale with flavours of dark
chocolate and coffee, and scorched almond aromas.

The Fainters Dubbel is a Belgian abbey-style beer, rich in malt flavours
accentuated with raisins and spicy cloves. At 8.5% alcohol
treat it with reverence, lest it smite you down!

On Friday 24th April we unleashed our latest beer, the Bright Lager.
After more requests than we can poke a stick at, we've brewed the pilot
batch of our Bright Lager and it's shaping up to be a dangerously drinkable beer - only around 4.7% alcohol, but the subtle honey character
leaves you wanting more.
Thanks to all who braved the wild weather and were able to attend the launch on Friday evening to join in the fun.
If you haven't tried it yet, drop into the brewery and we can show you what it's all about.
At the rate that this beer is going we'll soon be brewing more, and we've already made plans to integrate it into our permanent range - watch this space!
