Mini-Kegs for your fridge July 2010
We're currently trialling our beers in new 5 litre mini-kegs. These are self contained units with an
internal CO2 canister and tap - just pop it in the fridge (or snow!) and you'll have Bright beer on tap
in your home. One 5 litre keg holds about 20 glasses and will stay fresh for at least a month once
opened, if you can make it last that long!
We've flown a small quantity of these kegs in from Europe for the trial so if you get one we'd love
to hear any feedback you might have.
Currently they're available only at the Bright Brewery bar, or we can post them to you - please
call or email us to arrange delivery. |

Fruit Lambic Brewer's Choice Beer September 2008
Latest in our Brewer's Choice range of beers, the Fruit Lambic is a celebration of local ingredients and our snow-fed water.
It has the strong fresh aroma of local raspberries from the Bright Berry Farm. The vivid rose colour highlights the creamy pink head
supported by effervescent bubbles. The elegant and refreshing flavour is smoothened by the rounded body of wheat ale, using wheat
from nearby Porepunkah. This is complemented bysubtle raspberry fruit flavour, balanced by a slightly tart finish that is reminiscent
of the fresh fruit. Moderate use of local Pride of Ringwood hops keeps the bitterness very low: rather the bite of the fresh fruit
balances the body and creamy texture of the beer.
During the day of Friday September 19th, in preparation for the launch at 6pm, Bright Brewery will issue a First Fruit
Lambic ticket with each beer sold across the bar. The draw will be held at 6pm, with the prize being the
Ceremonial First Glass of Fruit Lambic to be poured by the Head Brewer.

Bright Brewery awarded Best Bar February 2007 |
|
Bright Brewery was awarded the 'Best Bar' award in the 2007 Alpine Style Awards, run by Alpine Style magazine
around the Victorian High Country. Here's some of the nice stuff they said about us at the awards ceremony... "gutsy venture
in a fledgling industry in the valleys", "produce a bloody good product
that everybody needs". The awards ceremony was held at the brewery, so we were able to celebrate straight away! |
